Meet the Instructors Teaching at Elham This Year

EAElham Academy7 min read

Forty-five instructors across eleven provinces — a teacher, an engineer and a photographer among them.

Elham now has forty-five instructors teaching from eleven provinces. Almost all of them do this alongside another job, and that is deliberate: we want people who are still working in the field they teach.

Ustad Rahmatullah Nazari has been preparing Kankor candidates in Mazar-i-Sharif for eleven years. His students have entered medicine and engineering faculties across the country, and he still marks practice papers by hand.

Farhad Sadat writes software for clients in Dubai and Berlin from Herat. Every project in his course is a version of something a client has actually paid him to build.

Latifa Noori photographs daily life in Herat, and her course is the one learners most often say changed how they see, not just what they can do.

If you teach something well and you would like to reach learners in all thirty-four provinces, our instructor applications are open. We provide the recording equipment, the editing and the audience; you bring the subject you know.
